Teshuvah is Repentance. Listen to this Rabbi and find the secret of the “test.”

I discovered many years ago that life begins before conception. Life is a cyclical process. Choose Life….

Thursday – September 17, 2020 – Just Listen

Avinu malkeinu, sh’ma koleinu. Avinu malkeinu, hatanu l’fanekha. Avinu malkeinu, hamol aleinu v’al olaleinu v’tapeinu. Avinu malkeinu, kaleh dever v’herev v’ra·av mei-aleinu. Avinu malkeinu, kaleh khol tzar u-mastin mei-aleinu. Avinu malkeinu, kotveinu b’sefer hayim tovim. Avinu malkeinu, hadesh aleinu shanah tovah. Avinu malkeinu, sh’ma koleinu.

Avinu Malkeinu, hear our voices. We have sinned in Your presence. Have compassion on us and our children. Rid us of disease, war, and hunger. Rid us of every oppressor and adversary. Avinu Malkeinu, inscribe us for good in the Book of Life. Avinu Malkeinu, make this a good new year for us. Avinu Malkeinu, hear our voices.

Saturday – September 19, 2020 – 10 Days of Awe

As I reviewed my posts this week I notice how ‘religious” they are. I know a lot of people in this world right now view religion as bad. I understand this view, however, I think to come to this conclusion and implant it as part of one’s perception is a mistake. Today is the first day of the the new year in the Jewish calendar. The next 10 days are called The 10 Days of Awe. The past month was all about Teshuvah or Repentance. Here is a short video on these 10 days….. Our yoga journey’s destination is Samadhi (Union with Source/At-one-ment). Yom Kippur will be our celebration day for reaching our goal…

Remember, this video was made 4 years ago so the dates are a bit different…….

The Buddha realized, recognized, discerned, observed, concluded, that “every human being is a composite of five processes: four of them mental and one physical.” In our meditation work we have been focusing on sensation and reaction; awareness of sensation and equanimity in our reactions. I believe, this week, the next 10 days, is opportunity to focus on our perception. Specifically, to clean, purify, make new, return to Source. This Monday I will attempt to overlap a few of the “maps” we have become aware of. Re-read pages 25, 26 and 27 in the Vipassana book. Watch a portion of this video with Perception in mind. Start watching at minute 20:30 through to minute 49:00. We will do the “View from above” guided meditation together on Monday.

For weeks 1-6 go to next pages……
